YAKIMA, Wash. — Drivers can expect further intermittent lane closures on a section of Yakima Avenue near Terrace Heights Drive due to a project now underway.
Cascade Natural Gas has started work on a new, high-pressure gas mainline on Yakima Avenue just past the Walmart towards Terrace Heights Drive.
As a result, temporary closures are expected on Yakima Avenue in the areas of South 17th Street and South 18th Street.
Work is expected to be complete by August 8th.
Cascade Natural Gas will maintain access to homes and businesses in the project area as best as possible, and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
