Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 14 individuals wanted with red notices and 1 nationally wanted suspect have been extradited to Türkiye from Georgia, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Serbia, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

According to Yerlikaya, individuals who had fled abroad and were being sought by authorities were successfully located through international cooperation and intelligence efforts.

Using INTERPOL databases, police information systems, social media, open sources, and the analytical efforts of departments including Intelligence, Narcotics, Public Order, Cyber Crimes, and Human Trafficking, the countries where the fugitives were hiding were identified one by one.

In coordination with the Ministry of Justice, these individuals were apprehended through direct operational cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the relevant countries.

Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that a total of 407 criminals have been extradited to Türkiye during the current cabinet’s term, highlighting the government’s continued efforts in ensuring justice and public safety.
