    I feel sorry for the conscripts who get hit and don’t immediately die.

    I know they’re fighting for the wrong side, but we need to remember that a lot of these soldiers are there against their will.

    Edit: clarity.. by against their will, I mean, they had very little choice.
    Either join and get paid, or get jailed.

    The signing bonus is just a Moscow playbook move so they can say out loud “they joined for money. We didn’t force them to.”

  29. I wonder if these kinds heat-insulating clothes are too uniform for close up IR, and that they make you stand out against the ground?

    Would it make sense to have different fabric that conduct heat differently in layers in a sort of rough ghillie suit?

    Anyway, this guy won’t be getting up, blast far bigger than the usual…At least it was mercifully quick.

  31. There seems to be a sort of correlation between large circular holes in wheat fields of Ukraine, and sudden dissapearance. Kind of reminds me of those crop circles. I could be over thinking this, but aliens?

  32. Obviously a heat-insulating poncho will have no use against a visual FPV drone (and it was never intended to be so). Why are you trying to make the solider seem stupid?
