I made my birthday cake this morning because this is my favourite cake in the whole world and I make it the best. But my neighbour told me she thinks it's a bit sad that I make it myself. She thinks other people should make or buy you cake on your birthday. So I ask, is it really so controversial? Do you make your own birthday cake?

  41. not only did i make cupcakes (carrot cake) for my own birthday this year, i brought them with me on my trip to the lake district, packed birthday candles, brought them up Seat How and semi-successfully attempted to light one and blow it out on the very windy summit. i don’t do things by half.

    I mean if you got someone else to make it for you, that’s all well and nice… But if you want it and can make it why not indeed. It’s the small things in life that makes you happy and this is one of them.

  48. If I could make a cake that tastes like how that one looks, I’d INSIST on making it every single birthday. I deserve to have the nicest treats on my birthday and that is one of the nicest cakes I’ve ever seen. Happy birthday! 🥳
