Amid floundering efforts to negotiate a truce between Russia and Ukraine, Donald Trump is looking to bulk up Ukrainian defenses. The American president announced the US will be sending Patriot air defense systems to Kev. I haven’t agreed on the number yet, but they’re going to have some because they do need protection. It’ll be business for us and we will send them patriots which they desperately need because Putin really surprised a lot of people. Uh he talks nice and then he bombs everybody in the evening. So there’s a little bit of a problem there and I don’t like it. Existing. Trump who promised a speedy end to the war after his inauguration in January has become increasingly frustrated with Russian President Vladimir Putin whom he sees as blocking American efforts to broker a diplomatic solution. As US backed peace talks have come to a standstill, Russia has continued heavy strikes across Ukraine. Trump hinted at another major announcement on Russia Monday as US senators look likely to pass a bill that would arm Trump with massive sanctions to use against Moscow. Nobody really knows. Stay tuned about a plan to go after the seized assets more aggressively. Stay tuned for a plan where America will begin to sell to our European allies tremendous amount of weapons that can benefit Ukraine. Congress is on the verge of passing the most consequential sanction package in the history of the of the country. It will give President Trump tools he doesn’t have today. A literal sledgehammer. The war in Ukraine is set to take center stage in the coming days. Trump’s special envoy has been sent to Kee for the week and NATO Secretary General Mark Rut is due to meet Trump in Washington on Monday.

  22. What happened to his oft-reiterated (over 50 times) signature promise of stopping the Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hours? Trump proves yet again that his promise is not worth any consideration.

    Switzerland ordered five Patriot systems, made by Ratheon, in 2022. Deliveries were set begin in 2026 and go through 2028..
