None of the stations by me have queues and seem to have all the pumps open.
The price of diesel on the other hand is out of control.
Perhaps they can spend those 30 minutes thinking about what they’re doing to the planet
No queues around here. The meeja just _have_ to a create a panic so they can report on it, don’t they?
By sheer fluke the car and the bike are fully fuelled, so hopefully we can weather whatever bat-shittery the gutter rags can provoke.
I can’t remember if this is the third or fourth petrol panic now?
Sure am glad I made the conscious decision a few years back to live near lots of jobs and amenities and build up my fitness and equipment at a leisurely pace so I can now live my day to day without needing a car.
I mean, on top of the thousands of pounds I’ve saved on fuel and car maintenance in the meantime.
And the physical and mental health benefits too, of course.
Good times.
So many areas don’t have queues. But the more the media keep up with this scare-mongering, the worse it will get.
Of course the media are hyping up the lack of fuel in certain places however there are still places with little to no fuel or a lot of queueing. In the minority of course, but that doesn’t mean that we can just immediately disregard said minority.
That reminds me, I am not actually due to fill up but I had better go and get some before all those idiots start panic buying.
