On July 20, a tragedy occurred in Sumy when a 46-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike. The incident happened around 7:00 PM, but there is no threat to the victim’s life.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian attacks, which caused damage to non-residential buildings and enterprises. In particular, a poultry house was affected, where birds died. After one of the drone strikes, a fire broke out in non-residential premises, but it was quickly extinguished.

Earlier that day, around 3:00 PM, a Russian drone attacked the city, injuring a 43-year-old woman who received medical assistance.

Additionally, around 2:00 PM, a drone hit the Heavenly Hundred Square, where a children’s playground is located. The explosion damaged trees and shattered windows in nearby buildings. A woman and her 7-year-old son sought medical help.
