Kimmel blasts CBS for canceling Colbert

Jimmy Kimmel just went off on CBS for cancelling Colbear, but Elizabeth Warren’s comments are what’s really interesting. CBS has cancelled The Late Show with Stephen Cobear. The show will go off the air at the end of next season in May of 2026. CBS explained in a statement, “This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content, or other matters happening at Paramount.” In response to this news, a number of famous figures have now spoken out. Jimmy Kimmel wrote on Instagram, “Love you, Steven. you and all your Sheldons, CBS. Rachel Zgler said, I am extremely sad. I adore you, Stephen. Adam Scott commented, “Love you, Stephen. This is absolute bullshit.” And Andy Cohen said on his show, “It’s a sad day for late night television, and it’s a sad day for CBS.” But what really caught my eye was Elizabeth Warren’s tweet. CBS canled Colbear’s show just 3 days after Colbear called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16 million settlement with Trump, a deal that looks like bribery. America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.

  1. Oh yeah, I really believe cbs/paramount, that they didn't cancel the show because Colbert told the truth about them selling out to a fascist p0s and paid a bribe for a lawsuit that they called "completely without merit". Cbs just burned their bridge.

  2. Stephen has an obligation to confirm if he is being cancelled as CBS publically reasons or because of some other back politics… and put an end to these overzealous speculations made by fellow tv show hosts and politicians.

He is irresponsible for inflaming the situation.

  3. They pay him 20 million bucks a year, and I haven't seen anything funny or laughed at any of his jokes yet. I'll stick with youtube videos.

  4. We dont stop this administration cold in 26' we're about 4 years away from state run news as the only option allowed to broadcast. Fascism isnt coming its here.

  5. You settle if your in the wrong or the evidence is against you simple at that let not twist stuff once again because the results did not went your way. If their not at fault and knows they are right with whatever action or what said then fight for it if they know they are telling the truth and in the right to do what they did.

  6. The show gets less views than YouTube shows and costs a lot to make, it was kept on air because of the political views not taken off because of them.

  7. I always watch Colbert!! One of our best! 😮😢💔🤞🤘👌✌️🖖🤟not going to be watching CBS anymore, already boycott fox all of them. Am watching PBS💔💙🤘👌✌️

  8. Cannot wait for what SC does next. I wish we could just skip the last 10 months at CBS. America needs intelligent and brave (because the truth is increasingly brave) voices more than ever.

  9. Well, At least we're not funding oversea Pickle smooching competitions anymore. And I bet none of these self righteous frauds even watched The Colbert Show. They're just being 2nd hand victims, As usual.

  10. Yes,cancelling paramount/CBS due to a financial decisions, not related in any way for political reasons. And I have a bridge to sell you if you believe that b.s.😩👀🤨🤔🤔🙄🤘👌✌️
