It was a better time for sure
And apparently RTÉ didn’t have high quality logos of their tv shows
So just a few years ago?
I mean people born in the 1960s are still in their 40s and I’m still a teenager….
€3.50 a pint? Those were the days you could have a few jars, a pack of 10 smokes, and enough for a kebab for about €50
€3.50 pints… bejayses
You start to feel old when people start going on about sporting droughts, and you remember when that team last won! Spurs winning a trophy was another one that did it to me. Used to pass me by as a kid when Liverpool hadn’t won the league in over 20 years, or Dublin hadn’t won an All-Ireland in 16, now I’m getting perspective!
Don’t cha… what a great track
The thing that shook me here was that there were over 200 Xtravisions in the country LOL. Good nostalgic days
r/xtravision
The Nokia took me out
Did the Dublin metro open on time?
Roy Keane still played for Man Utd.
Gift Grub was at its peak.
Ah the good old days, sure wasn’t everything better back then.
That is very funny to be fair.
Everything’s doubled in price in 20 years, except wages
A better world
2005. Mad. I also just realized that Kilkenny haven’t won it in a decade, despite being in plenty of finals.
FECK I HAVE TO PAY THE TOLL!!!
Smokes were definitely cheaper, I think it was about 2009 when smokes hit 10 bob
> Xtravision had over 200 locations on the island of Ireland, today it has zero
Bullshit, there’s still one in my heart! Doctors are baffled!
