United States President Donald Trump Monday launched another attack at Barack Obama — with the help of AI this time. A video he posted on Truth Social shows the former President and Democratic Party leader being arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the Oval Office.
In the one-minute AI-generated video posted by President Trump — the clip starts with Obama saying, “No one especially the President, is above the law”, followed by other Democrats, including Joe Biden, stating, “No one is above the law.”
This comes after US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard publicly accused Obama and several of his top administration officials of orchestrating what she described as a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine Trump’s victory in the 2016 presidential election.
The clip, without any disclaimer, shows Obama being handcuffed by two FBI agents, while Trump sits nearby, smiling throughout the arrest. The latter part of the video shows Obama in a prison jumpsuit, sitting inside a jail cell.
The video was initially shared on the social media platform TikTok and later reshared by Trump on his Truth Social account.
In a series of posts on X, Gabbard alleged that Obama’s senior national security team deliberately “manufactured” and politicised intelligence assessments regarding Russian interference in the 2016 race.
She contended that these efforts were part of a coordinated attempt to discredit President Trump and “subvert the will of the American people.” Gabbard declared that her office has submitted relevant documents to the US Department of Justice, calling for a full criminal investigation.

“No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Gabbard said, according to The Guardian.
