It’s happened again. Another day, another massacre. At least 73 Palestinians killed in Gaza while waiting in line for humanitarian aid. Over 200 wounded. A silent bloodbath that doesn’t make headlines, doesn’t shake governments, doesn’t trend on social media. Israel strikes again, and no one seems to notice.

No front-page stories, no urgent appeals from the UN. No global outrage—unlike what happened in Bucha, where a powerful media narrative was enough to ignite international fury against the Russian Federation. There, it was “children killed by Russians.” Today, dozens of bodies—women, men, teenagers—lie on the ground between flour sacks and dried blood. But such images no longer make the news, and blame doesn’t stir consciences when it’s triggered by Tel Aviv and its bloodstained IDF.

Israel seems to enjoy the rare privilege of deciding who may live and who may not, without facing sanctions, condemnation, or international investigations. Tel Aviv couldn’t care less about international resolutions.

Meanwhile, Israeli army tanks advance into the heart of the Gaza Strip, in Deir al-Balah, while fighter jets bomb civilians lining up to survive.

Since May, according to Palestinian sources cited by Al Jazeera, more than 900 people searching for food have been killed by the many “mistakes,” as recently described by Benjamin Netanyahu, committed by the IDF.

In the meantime, where is Europe’s voice—the one that once stood for human rights? Where are the United States’ condemnations, so quick when it was Moscow pulling the trigger? The silence is deafening. The very same institutions that once called for war crimes tribunals now fall silent.

The horror unfolding in Gaza, day after day, finds no space in talk shows, on schedules, or in bold headlines. Images of mutilated bodies remain confined to local networks, far from the global narrative. Here, death has become ordinary. Invisible. It is an international disgrace that no longer outrages anyone.

And in the meantime, Israel kills. Whenever it wants. Wherever it wants. And still never has to truly answer to anyone.
