  1. Honestly, no one has caused more political trouble for his father than Hunter Biden. I understand and sympathize with his struggles with addiction, but his actions have created serious challenges for President Biden. Maybe it’s time for him to take a step back and stop drawing more attention.

  5. Look say what you want, and there’s a lot to say about what Hunter Biden has done, but it’s a son getting mad at a guy cutting off his dad’s political ankles at his most vulnerable moment.  Of course he’s going to be mad…. What son wouldn’t ? 

    Not to say it wasn’t warranted, but I mean we’ve seen what happened… Who knows what could’ve been if Biden wasn’t couped from inside the party?  One for the historians I guess.

  11. I think it took guts on Clooney’s part to speak up. No one in Biden’s camp was going to say anything. But dammit, sometimes you have to take away the keys. People over 70yrs should not be running any country

  12. Clooney was doing Joe a favor. I am not a Jake Tapper fan, but his book was revealing – the demeanor during the debate Biden had with Trump was Biden’s state of existence most of the time behind closed doors. He should have stuck with the heavily suggested possibility of being a one-term transitional President. He would not have been able to handle a 2nd term and may have lost even more drastically than Kamala

    If Joe dropped out and we had time to test a new candidate and have proper primaries, perhaps we would have had a better chance at stopping the Trump regime

  13. Well I’m slamming Hunter Biden right now for not convincing his father to exit the race in time for primary season. Why did it take George Clooney to get him out of the way? Biden literally put us in this situation by ever even considering a run in 2024.

The right wing media was going into overdrive prepping MAGA for a coherent “drugged up” Biden to display competent debate performance despite their age attacks. Then he completely Mr. Magoo’d his way through it completely screwing the entire party with his abysmal performance.

  25. I don’t have an opinion on Hunter Biden in general. We all have our skeletons and he’s a private citizen so it’s none of my business.

    That said, this doesn’t bother me. This is just a son defending his father. I don’t expect or require him to be impartial. He’s got no obligation to me or anyone else.

  26. That seems like an odd reaction to something half the country was saying at the time. The dude was clearly not fit for another run, much less another term.

    Electing an actual pig would be better than a fascist, but we shouldn’t have to choose between cognitive decline and fascism.

  30. Hunter is a joke, but he is right about Clooney. Clooney made an angry phone call to the White House over Biden’s disagreement on the ICC  arrest warrant against Netanyahu so Clooney screaming at the top of his lungs that Biden needs to step down was his revenge.
