So annoying they don’t post links for us to read the article
Huh, has Spain taken a massive pro-immigration position recently?
House prices go bruum brummmmm
Looks like Italy is being caught between rock and hard place
Poland is like Europe’s Mexico.
🇵🇱🏔️!
📉📉
Umm, what happened to Poland…
The key for migrants to be more productive than locals is having very unproductive locals! 😎
(if you do the math, it’s only around a 1% increase in population for spain, depending on which numbers you use)
Oh yeah Poland is definitely suffering a migrant crisis, I see
Labour dumping and housing pumping. This is not going to end well. This government is fucking up the youth.
Ah, so all the Brits finally moved to Spain 🇬🇧 🇪🇸
Really, these figures are meaningless. They are absolutely numbers, unrelated to host populations. An increase of 100,000 will have greater effect on a smaller country than a larger, as the percentage increase will be greater. It will necessarily put more pressure on available resources and infrastructure in a smaller country, such as housing, energy usage, water etc.
In the case of Ireland, it has helped us finally reach the pre-Famine population after decades of population decline. It has been a combination of returning migrants and an influx of immigrants and asylum seekers. Our medical services, care system and hospitality industry rely heavily on the latter, and there are also huge numbers of tech employees serving the needs of the MNCs located here. But the downside is that it has led to an irrational rise in racism and violence that the government prefers to ignore.
I wish these kinds of charts posted had UK on, even as a side bit.
Why do people keep insisting on creating graphs where full names are placed on the X axis and larger values with gaps on the Y axis?
The graph would be a lot more comfortable to read if the X and Y axis was swapped on this graph.
When you lose more people than Hungary, you know that you fucked up
For Croatia, if poor people from Nepal and Philippines living in old houses stacked like sardines counts as rising population, then yes, this graph is correct
If the UK was still part of the EU we would blow even Spain off the map. Really shows how high UK immigration is. We hit net of nearly a million one year. Jesus
Is this about births/deaths, migration/emigration or both?
Welcome to Poland! Agressive abortion laws, absolutely no regulation for job market (scam and ghost offers on all time high), or housing (in some places 70% of your average salary will go to just paying the mothly rent).
Most people are just scared to have children when you got no house to live and food to give.
More and more value of what is being created goes to a few at the top.
If everything continues as it, the whole human population will just be a few 1000 families, the rest of humanity will be dead, because their were either killed, or starved to death because they could not afford to buy any food because they had nothing left to sell or they were simply never born.
One can already see this starting in South Korea, where each woman on average has 0.7 children, and if this number does not drop even more then the whole population will be gone in 200 years.
In South Korea 10 families control 60% of the economy.
