  1. By Martha McHardy – US News Reporter:

House Republicans brought legislative business to a halt on Monday, abruptly shutting down the House floor to block a planned vote on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files.

It comes after Democrats said they planned to stage a vote on bringing legislation to the floor that would compel the release of the Epstein files.

  2. Guess some secrets are just too uncomfortable for people to vote on.

  3. Do it again, Dems. Keep bringing this to light so we can watch the Guardians of Pedophiles flounder.

  4. Bunch of pedo defending cowards. MAGA republicans should be calling themselves ‘groomers’ according to tradition.

  5. “May every day be another wonderful secret.”
    Trump writing to Epstein

  6. Republicans are honoring their long tradition of protecting sex criminals

  7. Every refusal should be met with ten more bills to release. If we’re doing flood the zone, then flood the fucking zone.

  8. This is really the best case scenario for pissing off the R base so keep it coming. They really could feed them any total bullshit and they’d lap it up, but instead the delays and full on blocking of releases has made Trump the deep state that he has railed against for years.

  9. God-boy Mikey is twisting himself like a pretzel to shield a child-rapist ‘cause that’s absolutely what Jesus would do, right Mikey?

Mikey is a case study in bullshit holier-than-thou piety. Christians claim that morality only comes through faith. But by shielding a self-proclaimed sexual predator and known pedophile, God-boy Mikey, proves that faith does nothing to make us more moral.

God-boy has done nothing but empower evil of every kind since he took office.

  10. At this point, any Epstein file that doesn’t contain Trump’s name is not credible.

Because if it exonerated Trump, it would have been released by now.

  11. Why would House Republicans be just as terrified as Trump is about the Epstein files? It’s almost as if some of them suspect that they are named in the files…

  12. That’s because there are enough republican votes to pass it. This is a party eating itself.

  13. Protect pedophiles is more important than doing their jobs.

  14. They have no problem passing bills in the middle of the night when it hurts defenseless people, but when one of the most powerful men in the world is credibly accused of being a pedophile, and a violent rapist, they decide to give him “space” and go on vacation rather than confront the issue, or deal with the overwhelming evidence of guilt.

    They also call themselves “Christian.”

  15. If no one is going to leak it then one of the Dems need to find a way to read it into the Congressional record.

  16. Remember when we FINALLY got some of Trump’s tax returns released and it became immediately apparent, he was committing fraud and tax evasion?

    This is the same deal.

  17. And here’s Trump over here saying the average American gets too much time off every year with like the 5 days that we get off because of holidays…

These motherfuckers get an entire month off like twice a year. They end up working less than part-time hours and run this country into the dirt.

    Fucking lazy cowards.

    Release the fucking list.

  18. Donald Trump rapes children, and the government is bending over backwards to protect him.

  19. Based on what I was just reading on the askconservatives boards, it seems that MAGA has already reached the point of excusing all this. Now it’s just a lot of “Well, this is how politics works” and “I never expected to see much anyway” and “Everyone’s guilty, so I just vote on policies!”

    SMFH. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  20. The Grand Jury files are a tiny proportion of all the evidence: remember it took 1,000 FBI agents to sort through it to find (and delete???) references to Trump. No way did all that go to the Grand Jury.

  21. Just think, a year ago, they would have voted unanimously to release these records. Now, because it’ll implicate pedo in chief, no way. Follow along with me, it’s almost like they never really cared about protecting kids or getting justice for the victims! I know, shocking!

  22. This is tantamount to a full blown cover up by the GOP now

They are protecting people who harmed children all for the sake of protecting Trump

  23. Shocked that the guy who monitors his son’s porn shut down the vote.

  24. imagine belonging to a party that openly defends and protects pedophiles

  25. It couldn’t be more clear the ENTIRE republican party is compromised. They are actively protecting pedophiles.

  26. Never in my life would I have expected the United States congress to stop the democratic process, *to defend a proven pedophile*. Truly the dumbest timeline.

  27. As a democrat who didn’t know much about Epstein other than he was a wealthy child raper who killed himself, I am much more outraged now to think wow maybe we really do have an elite pedo trafficking ring being protected by some of the most powerful people in the world! I don’t want any of these people in power.

  28. Again? Geez, it’s like they dont actually want the American public to see the files.

  29. (G)uarding

    (O)bvious

    (P)edophiles

… tHe PaRtY oF fAmILy VaLuEs!

  30. They’re ok with the pedophilia now. Wtf. They keep moving the goalposts for Trump. So immoral.

  31. Anyone who votes for these people is voting for pedophilia.

  32. It sounds like those of us that have R reps need to call their offices and ask why they don’t want the documents released. I left a message asking mine if he might be in the documents.

  33. “Later that night, Johnson reiterated the House would not vote on the legislation this week: “There was nothing else that was time-sensitive this week that we needed to handle by way of a rule,” he said. “So the work of the House will continue all week, we’ll be here doing our work, and we won’t allow [Democrats] a platform to try and engage in political games.””

The Speaker of the House thinks releasing files on Trump’s association with a child sexual predator is “political games”. That’s where the House is, folks.
