5. Heard it on the RTÉ news at 1pm. “Gardai are at a house in Cavan” – You’d have guessed straight away.

6. From Twitter: The home of former billionaire and once Ireland’s richest man, Sean Quinn, is being searched by Gardaí.

   The Impartial Reporter contacted Garda about the ongoing situation, they released a short statement from a spokesperson saying: “Gardaí based in the Cavan/ Monaghan Garda Division carrying out an ongoing criminal investigation into alleged criminal activity in Cavan and wider border region have today executed a search warrant issued by a District Court Judge under the Section 10 of the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1997, at a domestic residence in County Cavan.

   “No arrests have been made at this time.

   “As this is an ongoing Criminal Investigation An Garda Síochána is not making any further comment.”

7. He stole part of the Quinn Cement factory and has it hiding in a back room.

8. I don’t know what this is about, but I know one thing for (almost certain) they are never, ever going to build a meaningful case against Quinn. THey couldn’t even force his kids to say where the money they had squirrelled away illegally was held

12. That’s a hell of a house. He actually imported sand for the man made beach at his lake at the back of the House… You could see it from Sandville house where I used to go on retreat
