The 2025 GAA All-Ireland football championship reaches its grand finale this Sunday as Kerry and Donegal square off in Croke Park with Sam Maguire on the line.
It’s only the second time these sides have met in an All-Ireland final, with Kerry claiming victory in their 2014 showdown.
Both teams come into this year’s decider after impressive semi-final wins and a thrilling summer of football, with just one game left to decide who lifts Sam Maguire.
For Donegal, it’s a shot at a first All-Ireland title since 2012, while Kerry are aiming to add a 39th crown to their already unmatched roll of honour.
When and where is the final?
The All-Ireland football final takes place on Sunday, July 27 at Croke Park in Dublin.
What time is throw-in?
Throw-in is at 3.30pm. The referee is Brendan Cawley of Kildare – and he’ll be the first-ever Kildare man to take charge of an All-Ireland final
Where can I watch the match?
Live coverage is on RTÉ One and BBC Sport NI. GAA+ will also stream the game worldwide for international viewers.
Can I still get tickets?
Not likely, but you can certainly try! Final tickets are always in huge demand and most were snapped up via the GAA clubs and county allocations.
What are the odds?
There’s little between the sides in the eyes of the bookies, with Kerry priced at even money, while Donegal are 6/5, and a draw is 13/2.
Have Kerry and Donegal met in an All-Ireland final before?
Yes, once, in 2014. Kerry won that day on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-12.
What happened the last time they met?
Their most recent meeting was in this year’s Allianz Football League in Killarney, where Donegal beat Kerry 0-23 to 1-18.
