    * “It’s really good to see them go,” he wrote, “and I hope I played a major part in it!”

  5. Look at this guy boasting that he’s getting people fired, like it’s some big achievement for someone who should be focused on way more important things. (though, of course, in saying that, freedom of the press is usually the first target of fascists; and once that’s gone, it doesn’t matter what happens next, you don’t get it back that easily, if at all)

    Like the men he’s picking a fight with won’t find another way to make a living.

    It’s the crew on those shows that will pay the price. And so the President who claims he’s creating jobs is really doing the opposite. Which is, of course, on par for this guy. If he says things are down, they’re more than likely to be up. If he says to turn right, turning left is your best bet.

  23. Dictators often target comedians because they latch onto simple truths even when joking, going after them and the news. Look at any other country run by a dictator and see how they clam down on comedians, the news, artists and anyone who doesn’t toe the line.
