1. The Israeli courts are complicit in the genocide.

   Israel is morally failed and lawless state. It’s the only way you can make Zionism work. Zionism core is apartheid. At every level of the state.

2. Modern Israel is populated by the same people you see smiling at lynchings in the Jim Crow South.

3. The idea that Israel’s judicial system is being weakened only makes sense if you assume that the purpose of the Israeli judicial system is to fairly and equally deploy the rule of law. Once you understand that their judicial system exists to uphold racism and apartheid, you’ll realize that not only is it working, but it is *robust*. (The same is true of the judicial system in the U.S., by the way—settler states are always set up to preserve and perpetuate inequality.)

4. A few months ago an Israeli Supreme Court Justice David Mintz rejected a petition by the human rights group Gisha to order Israel to supply humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Mintz, a resident of the West Bank settlement of Dolev, asserted that this was a “war of commandment” just like in the Torah.
