When I posted about Poland's newly discovered oil and natural gas yesterday, several comments including my own suggested Germany would resist extraction, just as they try to stop the new port in Świnoujście:

Fun fact: The government of MV state is still lead by a certain Frau Schwesig, who founded a fake "Climate and Environmental Protection Foundation" with the aim of finishing Nord Stream 2. The foundation received at least 20 million euros from Gazprom for this.

  13. Why does Germany hate Poland so much? I live in Canada, both my parents are polish. It seems like Germany tries to do all it can to stop Poland from doing well.
