  1. SS: Kaja Kallas told her Israeli counterpart Tuesday that Israel’s military “must stop” killing civilians at aid distribution points in Gaza.

    European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen joined the calls by saying “civilians cannot be targets. Never.”

    “The images from Gaza are unbearable,” von der Leyen wrote.

    This ensures that the EU is committed to stopping the war in Gaza, even going as far as making plans to threaten Israel with various methods if needed.

  2. The only way these ghouls would stop is sanctions. Words and condemnations don’t do anything.

  4. So is the EU actually gonna do anything or are they gonna wag their finger at Israel maybe stop buying fruits while continuing to buy weapons from elbit. Never mind serious sanctions they are still actively buying from Israel’s military industrial complex.

  5. Some of us who have uncritically supported Israel since Hamas attacked Israel in October 2023 are now getting tired of the large scale killing of Palestinians clamoring to get food.

    How about a party verified not to be smuggling in weapons to Hamas–an implausible idea to begin with–be designated to bring in food and Israel keeps its soldiers away from food distribution sites? Other security can be organized. Using Israeli soldiers in this capacity is a bad idea, unless the underlying motive is to keep killing Palestinians.

  6. Notice they didn’t mean stop killing them, just not making everyone supporting the killing look bad by doing it in the wrong place…
