2. That sounds strange to me, since we’ve long been aware of the absolute travesty that is clear-cutting/burning old and ancient rain forest…

   Unless it’s even worse than we thought 🤔

   Ah. Not worse than we thought in regard to ecosystem models, but worse than local surveys would measure.
