Experts issue warning over cannabis sweets laced with Spice

  1. You know if we legalized cannabis, we could control the quality ourselves and people wouldn’t have to rely on these shady sources.

  2. Just fucking legalise it already

I tried cannabis for the first time during lockdown and I’ve found it incredibly beneficial for certain situations, with no real addictive properties either (I probably use it 2-3x per month, I’d likely use it a bit more often if I could afford it but there’s no compulsion to, like I’ve felt with other ‘addictions’)

Obviously everyone’s experience will be different but if it was an option for me I’d absolutely be pursuing a medical prescription, it helps in ways no other medication has and it’s improved my quality of life

all for a ‘drug’ that’s largely harmless in moderation (after a certain age anyway)

  3. Britain won’t legalise it because our leaders are scared we’ll grow it ourselves, swap strains down the pub, whilst sipping one beer for ages puffing in the beer garden.

They’ll make no tax, drinks companies will lose money and we’ll start collectivising. Sharing a bag of weed or a joint is the first step towards collective thinking for many of us. ‘Pass the dutchie…’

  4. Yes, they were laced with Spice. But wouldn’t it suit our agenda better if we just ran a headline saying they died from cannabis edibles? – The Independent

  5. It’s almost like when governments push something into a black market, this shit happens. Legalise and regulate is the answer.

  6. By the way for anyone not in the know: you can legally get a prescription for weed if you’ve tried 2 treatments unsuccessfully, your condition falls under some criteria and you can afford an initial up front cost for an appointment (£40-£70). Police are having to wise up about it and there’s lots of info on r/ukmedicalcannabis
