  1. 1. Roma popping out kids at 12
    2. Turkish women having the same mentality as Roma altho a bit later (18-20)
    3. Largely uneducated bulgarian women hurrying to pop kids out even tho they’ve got neither a career, nor a mature mentality to handle raising another human being

  2. The rich man plays with his toys, the poor man plays with his wife.

    Simple.

  4. Нищо ново под слънцето, най-бедните и необразовани се плодят най-много. Справка – Индия, Африка, близкия изток и т.н.

  5. So what? Africa has the highest fertility rate and lowest GDP per capita. Completely normal.

  6. We all know poor people have more time for making kids 😄 And they are less stressed which also helps them.

  7. Our real GDP per capita is likely 20-30% higher than what is shown officially. There are massive amounts of money, goods and services that are flowing under the radar – from regular people all the way up to the biggest companies.

  8. В коментарите отново умнокрасивите бг редитори демонстрират омразата към държавата си като серат по положителна статистика. За тва никой нито ви харесва, нито ви взема насериозно.

  9. We will be more poor in the next few years due to the euro adoption.

  10. I suspect the BR being manipulated by some returning Bulgarians, Ukraininan immigrants and the inflow of Syrians + Russians. Last, year it was 1.81, now 1.72 and falling. It should normalize at around 1.5 in my opinion. Romas BR is around 3 while the turkish one is similar to the Bulgar one at around 1.7.

  11. Not correlated in this case, Bulgaria had a much lower fertility rate in the 90s when GDP/capita was a fifth of what it is now.

  12. 1. gdp per capita does not indicate quality of life well.

    2. Countries with lower gdp per capita tend to have more kids anyway, check stats outside of Europe
