  1. Imagine being not in in the top 2(3) , post made by Lit-Est-(Lat) gang
Edit: a Latvian brother fixed this post

  2. I reckon the Baltic states are the only countries that never really identified officially as Soviet Republics and worked extremely hard to get rid of that legacy. Most other countries are still on really warm ties with Russia and are littered with Soviet statues all over the place. Can’t expect them to do much progress when their nations are still covered in Soviet cults of personality.

  3. Išparduota kritinė infrastruktūra specialiesiams užsienio interesams, prarastos galimybės būti viena iš šalių su negatyviu carbon pėdsaku (Ignalinos AE uždarymas ir naujų AE neatidarymas), visas šalies turtas priklausantis dešimtiems aristrokratų – oi gerai.

EU investicijos užema apie 15% viešojo sektoriaus, be jų tokios Lietuvos nebūtų.

  4. That’s hardly fair, other Ex-USSR countries have a different (sometimes more challenging) geography and arguably the most important factor, during the time of independence they didn’t have a noticeable portion of the population which remembered life under a different, capitalist regime.

  5. What amazes me about the Baltic States is how united they are. No matter what they’ve been through, they’ll always stay by each others side, and keep the language, traditions, culture and pride that the Russians and Germans tried to take away.

  6. Well lets be honest, Russian goverment is poison. Many russians migrate to those ”baltic” countries but still hail Putin. They are fucked in the head.
