Stop the War has really fucked up this one. Opposing an active war is obviously more important than opposing military build ups which *might* lead to a war down the line.
Although I suppose it makes sense that pacifists are no good at picking their battles.
Does Corbyn really care? He does not depend on the party or even his seat in Parliament. He’ll still get invited to speak at rallies and such anyway.
Good. Stop The War (ironically enough) is simply a pro-Russia anti-NATO movement.
Starmer knows that Corbyn is toxic for Labour. He’ll never let him back in the party and taint the party with his politics.
Good riddance. Hope he loses his seat at the next GE
