Data points. Prices going up! Was just at a dealer yesterday and these are two window stickers. Same exact car. 2025 White Outback Wilderness. Package 22 and Wilderness options. One older on lot from previous shipment and one newer with tariffs. $1750 price difference. 🙁

Don’t lie to me about tariffs. Mr. Japan will cut me a check if I buy the more expensive one. Didn’t you see the tweet from my president?
46k for an outback! get a 4runner.
Wished they place the tariff premium in the pricing
Looks like MSRP difference is 4.37% higher now because of tariffs… cool.
They need to label it as a line item
“Trump Tariff…….. $2000
So it’s abundantly clear to consumers that they are paying $2000 and receiving absolutely nothing in return.
The tarrifs on Japan during Biden were 2%. Now under Trump its 15%. This is a straight up tax on you and me.
Can’t wait til Trump says his tariffs generate taxes and cut deficits but inflation isn’t his fault because it’s ***BIDINFLATION***, Gina not fair trading, or lazy immigrants who steal jobs.
15 percent tariff “deal” means your cost went up 15 percent. Not sure why anyone is surprised by this
Regardless of tariffs, $46k for an Outback is bonkers…
Car market is beyond fucked.
And people will still line up to buy them, because they ‘need’ it.
Clown cars for clowns. Tarrifs don’t care about you.
I see you sprang for the cargo net. We’re all cinching our belts during these tough times but here’s moneybags subibro just cruising flush with cargo nets
We are in a recession now because of the drumpf tariffs
So. Are you going to buy it or buy an American car?
Winning! We’re so winning. I don’t care. Close all the rural hospitals. You get what you voted for.
But but but Japan is gonna pay that for me /s /duhhh
Biggest sales tax increase in American history
I can repair a LOT of things over years on my 14 and 17 models before it adds up to anything close to this.
