  1. Vlada defeated Katrina Lehis of Estonia, the 2020 Olympic bronze medalist and 2018 European champion, by a margin of 15-14 in the final of the championship.

    She is the fifth Ukrainian world champion in fencing. Only Nataliia Konrad has won gold in the individual epee competition, which she did in 2003.
