If Orban (which is anti-€ for obvious reasons) lose the next elections, Peter Magyar vows for Euro adoption.
This is not a simple task though especially considering how bad the economic conditions is right now for Hungary (big deficits, debt increases, Hungarian forint losing power etc.)
Why ex-british colonies with independent currencies grow faster than ex-french using frank CFA? Why this colleration also exist amoung ex-Warsaw Pact or Scandinavia vs more Central Europe?
Where is smth positive in resigning from currency you can print if you need for exaple salary raises for teachers to currency you need to treat like a house budget because you don’t control it?
Honest question: Is it really that population of a decision in Hungary?
Wouldn’t it be more popular to push for instance on de-orbanization, anti-corruption, freedom of media points?
I am not sure I want that. Hungary is one election away from being a Russian shill. Why should we risk UE and monetary stability even more than now?
