Explosions have rippled across Iran, with at least one or two blasts in a day, sowing fear and chaos in the nation.

Some explosions have occured at key infrastructure, with a fire killing one person over the weekend, while others hit apartments and factories.

However, the Iranian officials did not provide any evidence to the Times and said that authorities will not formally accuse Israel to prevent yet another military assault.

Publicly, officials have said that gas leaks, waning infrastructure, and garbage fires have led to such incidents.

According to the national gas company, the number of gas leaks have not gone up since last year.

While Israel did not formally respond to the accusations, a social media account in Persian which is run by the Mossad according to a source in the agency that spoke to The Times commented on it.

“Explosion after explosion. Someone should check what’s going on there. A lot of random things happen,” this “Mossad in Farsi” account said on X.

In another post, the social media account urged Iranians to burn Esphand, a kind of traditional incense lit to protect oneself against evil spirits.

In last month’s 12-day war, Iranian authorities said that around 1,000 people were killed after Israel’s sweeping assault on the nuclear enrichment sites as well as top military leaders and nuclear scientists.

Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Israel saw them launching over 500 ballistic missiles and 1,100 drones which killed 28 and wounded 3,000 Israelis, officials said.

It comes after Donald Trump exploded at Israeli’s Benjamin Netanyahu with a furious 6-word phone call.
