    This story is as huge an indictment on corporate media as it is on anyone.

    If Trump loses this fight it’s likely he will be out before the mid terms and all the bad policies blamed on him (BBB) in a desperate bid to hold onto the house.

    Trumps best “card” to play is to make a deal with Maxwell. Favorable testimony for a pardon and stall the release of the files on procedural grounds. Only question is, will anyone buy this?

    Based on my research, I have to conclude that somebody was really lucky that Epstein didn’t make it to a “today” where he could actually answer that question.

  22. Compare and contrast with Andy Byron, the former CEO whose affair was exposed, leading to public shaming and he has to resign, and now the scorned wife is issuing an angry press release. Whole life crashing down in a quick minute. Maybe in a year or two he attempts “rehabilitation”, but what would even mean?

    Elizabeth Holmes also comes to mind. She really blew it, but seemed surprised throughout that she was held to account. Almost Trumpian, her confident self-delusion. She seems to think she’s still got career potential.

    Why do we have so many truly shameless people in high places? Trump is clearly the pinnacle – he has survived so much tabloid exposure for so many years.
