Unfortunately this is a worldwide phenomenon. Ethnic Russians who are permanent residents or students in other countries have been getting harassed by people because of the actions of the Russian government/ Putin. People must understand that most Russians don’t support the invasion of Ukraine especially those who live outside of Russia and have access to non-state media.

Unfortunately, my Russian’ friend in Cyprus received some insults through Instagram last Saturday. Don’t know if she reported the issue, but seems as per the notice, she wasn’t the only one.
Just like the discrimination etc. etc. faced by Japanese people who lived in the US during WW2.
History is repeating itself.
They should publicly condemn Putin and his war in Ukraine. Actually all Russian diplomats should stand up. If they don’t we Europeans should send them all back to Russia.

How comes they write “Russıan Embassy” with the letter “ı” without dots? Do they have a Turkish keyboard at the embassy?
It’s a shame that dear fellow Russians have to take it just because of their nationality regardless if they do or don’t support their president.
