Denmark will be represented at this year’s Motocross of Nations by a team of strong riders with both international experience and great camaraderie.

There are always many considerations and names in play when selecting a team for the MXoN, and this year was no exception.

It has not yet been decided which classes each rider will compete in. This will be determined as planning and preparation for the race in the USA this October continues.

Throughout the season, all riders have shown speed, determination, and fighting spirit, while also collecting valuable experience and strong results from the European Championship, World Championship, and AMA events.

All of these qualities can help secure a strong result at this year’s MXoN, with the goal of qualifying for the A-final and ideally finishing inside the top 10 among the world’s best.

DMU’s national motocross coach, Thomas Kjer Olsen, who together with DMU’s Sports Director has been involved in selecting this year’s MXoN riders, said:

“Denmark is well represented with this team. The boys are really motivated to deliver their best and bring home a good result. I am very proud that Denmark can field such a strong team, with great support from committed sponsors and manufacturers. The riders complement each other well and each have plenty of experience, and that’s something we’ll make good use of in the USA.”

The riders themselves said:

Mikkel Haarup:

“I’m honored to once again be selected to represent Denmark at the Motocross of Nations. We’re once again fielding a young team with plenty of determination, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve.”

Mads Fredsøe:

“I’m extremely proud to be chosen again this year to represent Denmark at the Motocross of Nations in the USA. It’s a huge experience, and I’m ready to give it my all and fly the flag on motocross’ biggest stage.”

DMU, the national coach, and the riders would also like to extend a huge thank you to the sponsors who support the team and have helped make this effort possible. Your backing means a lot, both to the riders and to Danish motocross.
