Russia: Ukraine can’t have members of friendly country’s military on their own territory.
Russia will say anything to act like they aren’t failing in Ukraine. They are saying the British and Americans are there because it makes it look like they are playing with countries they consider capable. It’s just propaganda.
Even if they are there, I wouldn’t take Russian claims seriously without a different source.
So are Syrians and god knows whom else Russia hired. Imagine calling yourself “2nd military in the world” and being pissed about some British SAS bois ruining your war.
So, basically, British SAS sabotage specialists are NOT in Ukraine. Got it, but already knew that.
Why is Russia concerned with whom Ukraine, an independent country, invites on its territory? It’s not Russia’s business.
The UK has already confirmed that the SAS are in Ukraine in a training capacity.
Whether they’re doing anything else we’ll not know for years.
But unless Russia wants a hot war with the UK, they’ll have to suck it up anyway. Boohoo.
Even if they are present for various reasons like protecting their own embassy and staff, there’s zero chance SAS is doing any fighting.
This is just the usual Russian propaganda trying to explain why the mighty Russia is struggling. When in reality ordinary Ukrainians had to leave their ordinary jobs and families and go die on the front to stop this nuclear madman fascist financed by germanics.
If all these mystery fires and explosions are due to sabotage, it’s the best ROI in crippling the Russian War machine after sanctions.
I would posit the establishment of the Ukrainian international league would provide cover for British Marines and SBS, SAS soldiers to operate with the Ukrainian military either in an advisory role, or in a combat role. I would not be surprised if the Australian SASR, New Zealand SAS and the US Delta forces are also working in Ukraine but again under the cover of being part of the international league. It’s perfect!
