Last year i found angel delight soft serve at heron and this community loved it, today I found these, starting to believe I’m some kind of herald of angel delight ice cream

  1. Had a heron foods near my uni house. The first I had ever come across such a shop. And what gems I found! Seemingly products that never made it onto UK shelves or if they did, it was short lived because I had never even seen more than half the stuff sold

  6. Maybe it’s just me but I was disappointed with the tubs of Angel Delight soft serve.

    I got some butterscotch flavour in Asda a while back and it was damn near tasteless to me 😟.

    Dunno if it’s just me though…. like I regularly have the powder stuff you mix at home and that has taste, just freezing it somehow removed the flavour? Lol.

  9. what you’re all missing here is the fundamental alchemy that happens when you freeze Dream Topping.

    angel delight can suck donkey balls. frozen dream topping is where the REAL cool kids are at.

  13. I’ve tried it and it tastes really nice but the consistency is a bit weird, like slightly frothy?

  14. Me mum’s been making angel delight ice cream in freezer moulds since the 80s! Since before I was born, and she’s still making them for my 2 year old. They’re not choco-covered like these ones mind.

  15. They should be doing the strawberry flavour and white chocolate on the outside instead of the milk chocolate.

  16. There’s so many angel delight ice creams now – there’s also some non chocolate covered ones!

  17. Sadly not in Aldi.. although they did have some Tiramisu gelato which had no business being that delicious..
