This follows comments from Corbyn earlier that he's “confident there will be an equivalent voice in Wales and an equivalent voice in Scotland” but the nations will be deciding their organisation as he believes in “the autonomy of the nations”.

So about as clear as mud as to whether they will stand at the Senedd election. I imagine it would be pretty handled for them to get organised in time which is just as well because realistically they'd only split the left wing vote further.

  1. As a Reform voter, this is awesome. The more the left eats itself, the better chance we have of winning a majority in Westminster and the Senedd.

More please! Go on Jezza, the public love you, honestly. Keep reaching for that rainbow son.

    Edit: Copium below please. Ta.

Edit: Can everyone please stop misgendering me? It’s not nice.

  2. Fun fact!

The new voting system is not certain to be more proportional than the status quo.

If you don’t reach the threshold of around 12-15%, then your vote is wasted.

Add in another left wing party makes it a lot more likely Greens and Lib Dems don’t reach the threshold along with TBD here. Also makes it easier for the Tories to avoid a wipeout, and for whoever finishes top to pick up more seats.

It is possible, if unlikely for Plaid or Reform to get a majority on 35% to 40% if they get really lucky.

But the most likely beneficiary on the current polling is Farage.
