We found out what more they could say yesterday, in brutal fashion. The same day Paramount [announced](https://www.paramount.com/press/paramount-global-and-park-county-extend-overall-deal) a five-year streaming deal with “South Park,” including 50 new episodes, the show’s 27th season premiere mercilessly mocked both president Trump and the network for capitulating to his demands, settling with him over the “60 Minutes” lawsuit, and canceling “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” The episode, called “Sermon on the Mount,” did not hold back on crass jokes aimed at Trump, showing him with a “teeny tiny” penis both in animation and as a deepfake, and portraying him as Satan’s lover in a style reminiscent of the gay Saddam Hussein character from the 1999 movie “South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.”
The episode aired as Paramount is set to merge with media company Skydance. Politicians and media personalities alike are speculating that its eagerness to keep Trump happy is motivated by gaining the US Federal Communications Commission’s approval of the deal, which was made official Thursday evening. Before being fired, Colbert, a late-night ratings leader, described Paramount’s $16-million settlement with Trump as a “big fat bribe” and on Monday’s show he said “the gloves are off” while telling the president “go fuck yourself.” Between Colbert’s remaining season, network colleague Jon Stewart’s scathing [indictment](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jon-stewart-rips-cbs-paramount-late-show-fcc-1236327983/) of both Paramount and CBS, the new “South Park” deal, and a transformative merger, the company appears to be looking at a period where some of its biggest stars are openly hostile to both it and the president.
The merger was just approved, there’s no problem. Paramount has probably had a huge surge in new subscriptions as a result of this one new SP episode (along with the pre-existing catalogue).
Hmmm a better title, “Donald Trump has a micro-penis Problem”
Haven’t watched in year. Now I’m back on board
Maybe South Park, Colbert, and Stewart should all move to PBS.
Trump cares but also doesn’t give a shit because he was so dialed into Colbert specifically
I’m so ignorant but dont they have to like, approve of what is aired or streamed or whatever? How could they do this do themselves?
Paramount could do the biggest “psyche!!” ever and go back on cancelling Colbert.
Do you think it’s possible that this was planned together WITH Paramount? Think about it–Paramount are bitter because they got fucked by Trump, and South Park are the only ones who could get away with something this absolutely bonkers. Sooo, Paramount pretend to kowtow to trump by giving him the “measly” $16m and announcing cancelling Colbert (but not until next year lol), tricking that dumb bastard just long enough to get the merger deal approved and then Paramount IMMEDIATELY release this episode as a big “fuck you” directly to Trump…? Maybe Colbert will get un-cancelled in the next couple of days?
It would be hilarious if Skydance pulls out of the deal.
Colbert also has 10 months before he’s gone we’ll see what he does. What are they going to do double fire him
No.
If you have an unpopular, expensive show the President doesn’t like, you have a problem.
If you have a popular show the president doesn’t like, the President has a problem.
Redditors love billionaires again. Funny that.
The Ketchup must be flying everywhere!
I’m with Parker and Stone.
WOW how far has the real world plummeted!
We are taking great delight in the fact that we
all know that the POTUS is going to react like
a frigin baby ! WTF !!
OH MY GOD!!! They killed Paramount’s facade of integrity!!!!
Weird way of saying ‘solution’
How do I watch this without giving Paramount+ money? I thought we were all boycotting them earlier this week after the news on Colbert…

In an interview with [Vanity Fair](https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/story/trey-parker-matt-stone-casa-bonita-south-park?srsltid=AfmBOopRivMtIgy6er20amLyDxvJTiKQVqWUX6jRUSWkzthkP8czfO84) in September, “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone all but swore off satirizing Donald Trump, noting “I don’t know what more we could possibly say.”

Shitting journalism has a “problem” problem

I love this for them.
[Freebie. everyone go watch the episode ](https://archive.ph/ydk2l)
I guess he was unaware of Trump Garrison. What a rube.
I mean….the fuck did they think was going to happen?
He declared war on comedy by getting Colbert canceled. Get ready cause this is only the beginning.
I’m guessing Paramount is on the hook for a large portion of that if they cancel the deal.
More like America has a free speech problem.
Paramount shouldn’t have been on their knees in the first place with the child rapist.
But its gonna be a fucking hilarious problem
South Park is hanging on by a *thread*… yeah, a 1.5 billion dollar thread.
Good. Fuck them. Colbert is a saint.
I never thought Id be so happy for Trey Parker and Matt Stone to be close to be billionaires. Comedians are all we have.
Paramount has an American Patriot problem.
