  2. Clicked on the article, he’s basically saying if Ukraine rushes into a ceasefire without building up their military the war will continue for a while. It’s rhetorical flourish- “the war started in 2014, God willing it will end in 2034”

    I believe the worst case scenario is 3 years, meaning the time Trump is done and out of politics (or died of natural causes coughMcDonaldscough). We are not even throuh 1 year and we are all starting to get really pissed. Very changed atmosphere than a year or two ago. 3 years from now, it can’t go that long. China can’t, and Russia can’t go another 3 weeks.

  5. There’s no way both sides will be able to continue for that long. Things have been ramping up this year because both sides are feeling the pressure and I believe it will at the very least have a stall sometime soon. But if he means a paused war that could later reignite yes then I can see it going this long but that’s the only way.
