1. We’ve been warned for decades: Warmer air holds more moisture. And: Extreme weather events will become more frequent and intense with climate change.

   So, we shouldn’t be surprised when a years’ worth of rain falls in a single day. Terrified maybe but not surprised. Especially those of us who live in monsoon regions. But it’s not like any other regions will escape their extreme weather events.
