  2. unfortunately all food categories are gonna be wacky for the foreseable future. and by wacky i mean volatile.

    people dont realize how delicate these systems are for food. between disease, war, the complexities of supply/sourcing…and now tariffs. if our founding fathers were alive they would be massively shocked about idea we can by oranges, coffee, and papaya literally any day of the week.

    my theory is tropical crops like coffee and seasonings will be the first to get wrecked. say brazil has a poor precipitation year, or 3, that creates WAY less competition for vietnam and colombia and they can crank up their prices.

  3. Yeah burger $6 a pound at Freddie’s. Way over priced and not going down any time soon.
