Why do I need to verify my ID to see some random gamers reddit profile?

  3. I’ve started using the free version of Proton VPN, switch it on/off when needed. Working a treat so far.

  5. worst thing is this fucking thing doesn’t even work for me and I’ve looked 40 since i was 15. Had to go the VPN route as well.

  11. I said it on another thread, I downloaded a generic picture of a drivers license (which also had a hand holding it in the picture) and it was verified.

    I genuinely didn’t even know the law changed because I have vpns on phone and computer as auto. 

    Proton VPN is dope and cheap, and based in Switzerland so safe as nazi gold. 

  14. I’m baffled, I have Proton VPN but it’s linked to a UK server so I can still watch iPlayer.

    I haven’t had any issues at all, not been asked once and just tested a few sites and nothing; wonder if they’ve set up auto verification on that particular IP?
