One big problem with that is who is going to buy it when there’s a covenant on the land from the Butes that it can be used for civic purposes or whatever the exact wording is?
University might have bought it 10 years ago but is broke so can’t unless it sells some more of its buildings. Cardiff Council is probably the only option, buying that instead of building a new HQ.
