Can you just pull the handle from the right one? If not, just go the a k-rauta or any hardware store and ask for a window opening handle
You’ll need a [handle](https://www.puuilo.fi/pisla-ikkuna-avain-paula-samakki-kromattu) for it, but it does. It’s not meant for ventilation though, so it won’t stay open and you beed to open both pains individually.
Get a window opener. They look like this.

There is window key that will open it. Every apartment should come with one but if yours is lost you can buy one at any large supermarket or hardware store
Not dumb question at all. You need a specific tool for that. Can be found from hardware stpre.
Looks like you just need the handle – they should be removable and pull out with a little bit of effort. If it is jammed you can buy window handles from most DIY stores etc.

If you are cheap ass you can just unscrew the one with the handle and use it as an opening tool.
The one in the left opens as well, need the same window opening tool just the same as the one in the right side.if its a big window it will have many places to put on the window opener key then you can open the window completely
Before getting any tools, check if the left side of the window has hinges or the same holes for the tool. Some big windows are not made to open; you can remove them for maintenance reasons, but they don’t have hinges at all.
The majority of the windows in my current apartment are like that. It’s a pain in the ass when trying to keep the place from turning into a Swedish sauna.
Check that the window does indeed open (hinges and such). If so you can buy a handle to open those, I had to because my house has only two of the half dozen windows were openable at first, though the rest had the hinges and all, had to buy a handle to open the rest…

It took me a while to learn you can only open the little screen on the side.
since you got answered already i would like to say youre not “dumb as a doornails” here.. more like “tyhmä kuin saapas” as in “dumb as a boot”.
Big flat head , it’s square inside , flat head needs to fit into the corners , righty tightly , lefty loosey. If u have these holes on both left and right now hinges be careful, if u have them one side too and bottom , their is hinges . Check the hinges are not in rotten wood first
