I never knew the chairs lifted up this way, also no engineer in sight, just this and a bunch of confused passengers.

  1. That’s how you drive the underground trains, a bit like the DLR buttons at the front but less scenic.

  2. If you want to be a helpful citizen you can unhook the strut to allow the seat to slam closed. And also report it to a member of staff so they can investigate how it happened

  5. neat use of space tbf, either contributing to electrics inside carriage or mechanics outside?
