Irish unity achieved (2032) colourised

  1. I always liked those old wooden phone boxes better than the aluminium/plastic things which replaced them.

Granted the newer ones were wheelchair accessible but also had a gap at the bottom so basically zero privacy.

Late in the 1990’s some gobshite decided it would be a great idea to introduce those California style things to Ireland. Thankfully mobiles were starting to become available to the masses by that time.

  2. Is that the right spelling of telefón, this always bothers me when I see them. Is it not Teileafón?

(edit) It doesn’t follow the classic Irish rule of leathan le leathan agus caol le caol
