  1. I applied for a Mortgage on Monday at approximately 11:12 AM. This data represents the unsolicited call/text/voicemail volume to my telephone number over the course of the (work) week.

The data was collected out of the Google Voice logs for my phone number.

The image was produced by collating that data in Google Sheets.

    **Some stats:**

    * In total, there have been 215 unsolicited contacts.
    * The first unsolicited contact (a phone call) happened at 11:19, less than 7 minutes after I **started** my call with the loan officer.
    * The most prolific texter has (so far) sent 13 texts, each one of which also contained an image.
    * The first unsolicited text didn’t happen until the day after.
    * Apparently, this whole process is made possible via some service provided by the credit reporting agencies. These contacts are called “trigger leads”.

  2. Where did you apply for a mortgage? Is this a case where you applied at your local bank or used an online broker?

  3. I’m at 36 in 3 days and I’m registered in the do not call list…

  4. What country is this? I used a random free broker online last month and I’ve not had a single message or phone call as a result. I’m in the UK.
