Me on the way to Carrautoohil

  1. Last month I hiked to the top of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, filming the adventure on my youtube channel (see my bio for a link). I can’t recommend it enough, especially as the weather improves. The post hike Guinness was well-earned!

Any other great hikes people would recommend in Ireland?

  2. Great weather for it, I love climbing Carrauntoohill. If you like that, these are ones I found to be great.

Ben Bulben in Sligo is amazing.

Croagh Patrick in Mayo. Also has stunning views of Clew Bay on a clear day and a wee chapel at the summit.

    Diamond Hill in Connemara.

Slievemoore on Achill Island in Mayo.

    Glendalough in Wicklow.

  3. ‘Far over the Misty Mountains cold

To dungeons deep and caverns old

We must away, ere break of day,

To find our long forgotten gold.’

  4. How do we know that’s you, could be anyone, take the photo again with one shoe on your head.

  5. Just watched the video you made of the hike. Beautiful editing, something I’d love to be able to do myself.
Climbed it on Saturday with my partner, plan on heading down soon to go up the heavenly gates this time, hopefully the weather will be better
