Sabina Nessa: Teacher’s family “treated differently due to ethnicity”

  1. Sarah was missing for a week, so the media had more traction at the start as it was always a possibility that she might show up alive.

Sabina was found dead in a park, and I’m not sure she was even reported missing first.

As a woman, the outcry when they were both found dead felt equal, as it did for Ashling Murphy. Of course with Sarah it was upsetting as I think we all had some hope she would be found alive.

The Nessa family is hurting beyond imagination at the moment, and I hope they get the solace they need, one day.

  2. They were treated differently due to who the murderer was, not who the victim was, a policeman is a government employee. Maybe the Albanian consulate should have sent their condolences.

  3. When two black women were murdered in a park, reaction was muted also. It would have been massively higher if it had been two affluent white women, reaction is very class and race based

  4. People are trying to justify it when you all know there is an element of truth to what she is saying. It’s been proven time and time again.

  5. Sarah was murdered by The Met Police so I can see why Sarahs horrible passing got more coverage by media. There’s other factors others have mentioned too. Think there’s been a fair amount of coverage for Sabina. Both horrible passings.
