7. To be honest real halal meat is fake halal meat, as a ‘blessing’ over the meat confers a non existent property to it.

9. Eating meat prepared in a special way to conform to religious standards is just another example of society bending to conform to another form of religious extremism. If specialised religious slaughter isn’t deemed extreme in modern society we need to have a big reassessment of what we believe modern cultural standards should be in this country
