Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot near the Russian resort city of Sochi overnight, sparking a large fire and prompting temporary airport closures. At least one person was killed in a separate incident, and dozens of flights were delayed.

The enemy launched a massive raid on the resort at night. People were sheltered on the first floors of hotels and underground parking lots. Flights were delayed due to the air situation. The operational headquarters reported the death of one civilian, the second was injured. One flight came at the oil refinery.

✨The complexity of organizing air defense for Sochi is the same as in Crimea. It is impossible to build an echelon defense: everything is concentrated on the shore. At the same time, air defense units are already experienced in the same Crimea: at night the attack on the peninsula was repelled.

  27. Given corruption in Russian construction, I would not take shelter in a questionably-built parking garage, and risk ending up like a squished bug in a stack of pancakes.
