Levi Randolph, former player for Maccabi Tel Aviv, will not continue his career in the EuroLeague, as he is set to make a move to Russia.
Levi Randolph has reached a two-year agreement with Zenit and will compete in the VTB League starting next season, marking a shift away from the EuroLeague for the American guard.
This move follows a similar path to that of Nenad Dimitrijevic, who also joined Zenit after a less-than-successful stint with Milano.
During his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Randolph averaged 12 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in the EuroLeague.
Often regarded as the team’s standout performer under head coach Oded Kattash, his contributions were not enough to secure a salary increase—something he had reportedly requested. This led him to seek new opportunities, ultimately choosing to head to Russia.
Meanwhile, Maccabi Tel Aviv has responded swiftly, reportedly sealing the arrival of Lonnie Walker in one of the summer’s most high-profile transfers.
